School holidays are here again! I woke up fresh for the new day & felt great! Last week, my friends in my study group were comparing notes on some extinct animals which are now being mark for conservation. Each of us need to do some research to broaden our knowledge, and the following is what I found out.
One of these extinct animal is the Galapagos Giant Tortoise. It really giant! The Galapagos Giant Tortoise can be found is most tropical African region, especially in Madagascar. It is huge, can grow up to 1.3 meters, and can be as heavy as 300kg! That is 3 humans put together!
The giant tortoise feed on vegetables and fruits and move very very slowly. It’s natural habitat is at tropical open areas with river banks and large rock bolders.
I will gather more info and present it to my group members so that we could exchange our findings.
